Hello and welcome to Bitchinbobsblog.com. This is my first attempt at building a web site so I hope it goes well. My name is Bob Mohney and for the last few years I have been attempting to race the #2X E-mod at Mckean County Raceway. Trust me when I say it hasn't been easy. At times I do alright but at other times, well I don't think we need to go there right now. I hope to keep everyone up to date on my racing along with what is happening at some of the other local tracks. With any luck some of the track photographers will let me post some of their pics and as time goes on and I get a little better at working on web sites I hope to have some video also.

A Little History Of How My Racing Began

It all started one night when I was helping my cousin work on his modified. I really didn't think it was all that hard to do and began talking about how I thought I could jump in his car and do alright. Well Mike Thompson who has helped Carl for years began to laugh and tell me there was no way I could do it. That's all it took. I started to surf the net looking for a car I could afford. After a couple of months I found a good deal on a Laser modified in Lima Ohio. After talking it over with my wife I decided to buy it. I called Mike and told him we were taking a road trip. Of course he didn't pass it up nor did he even try to talk me out of it. I spent some time at Allegheny Mountain raceway practicing just to get use to driving the car. There was no way I was just going to start racing with other guys and its a good thing. This was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be, but before long I started racing at MCR and for the most part have had fun doing it. Other then one bad wreck and getting yelled at by a couple of kids half my age its been fun. Its a lot more work then I ever thought but I am looking forward to the 2008 season.
