Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series' East Bay Finale to Air on Versus This Saturday!
CORONA, CA (March 27, 2008) -"The Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour" this Saturday, March 29th at 5:00pm (EST) will kickoff the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series' 2008 television broadcasts on Versus with the WinterNationals finale from East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL.
The Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour will air the East Bay finale on Versus this Saturday, March 29th at 5:00pm (EST). Ken Stout and Dustin Jarrett will be calling the hour-long show that features 75 laps of side-by-side, door-to-door racing as well as driver spotlights, crew chief profiles, fan interviews. Also included is a recap culminating the week's action leading up to the final night.
Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour, in conjunction with Versus, will air several different events throughout the year including more Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races as well as USAC Sprints & Midgets, Lucas Oil Modifieds, and Figure 8 races as well as several other types of motorsports. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series' Saturday, February 9th show at East Bay was the exclamation point on an unbelievable week of racing at the 32nd Annual WinterNationals. The week-long festivities reached their peak on that final night of racing, an event that saw the winner of the 75-lap A-Main take home a $12,000 paycheck.
"This is a race that everyone will want to watch AND record, just on that night alone, there were several big stories such as Scott Bloomquist getting upside down in preliminary action, Earl Pearson Jr. charging up through the field from his 23rd starting spot, and three-wide racing for the lead among other things." states Internet Broadcast Coordinator, Dustin Jarrett.
"I think the hardcore race fans as well as the casual viewers will enjoy this hour-long broadcast. We are changing things up a bit to capture the attention of people who may have never watched dirt racing before. We feel we have a program that is worth watching," mentioned Series Director, Ritchie Lewis.
Race fans attending the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown Speedway this Saturday will want to be sure they set their VCRs and DVRs to record the broadcast which airs at 5:00pm (EST) on Versus. Interviews with several fans will be shown over the course of the hour-long broadcast.
